WELCOME

JATHRA means “journey”, its also the folk art and cultural tradition in Bengal where our story begins. Its no secret almost all of UK India restaurants are owned by the Bangladeshi’s. We wanted to create an authentic and distinctively Bangladeshi influenced menu that enhances the existing Indian culinary experience. Our food should tell a story of our heritage as well as provide a new dining experience to our dinners. We have created a relaxing ambiance that aims to provide maximum comfort while dining inside.

After winning the competition to be invited to the restaurant, I can honestly say I wasnt disappointed by the amazing service, a bottle of champagne when we arrived. The staff are so lovely and friendly and were always checking we were ok, fantastic service, the food was amazing, fresh, tasty and full of flavour.
